Sexual Harassment And Child Abuse

I often wonder why or how someone will just wake up one morning and decide to abuse the rights of another human being. I believe that every human, no matter the skin color, age, tribe, gender, religion, we are all equal. God has created each and everyone in His likeness, wonderfully and fearfully, specially and uniquely. So what then gives me the right to harass or condemn or abuse these beautiful creatures? I read a book, a novel actually and it was about kidnapping of little children who cannot defend themselves, innocent children!! Selling them to people who have been denied the opportunity to adopt. I feel pain hearing stories like this, the evil heart of man, children whose innocence are meant to be protected, by uncles, aunties, mothers, fathers, brothers or sisters, we become the greatest threats to their innocence. My mother always tells me not to let any uncle or 'broda' to touch me anyhow, if that ever happened to me, to report to her. Now I know that my mother would believe me if I told her something like that happened to me but what about those girls out their who have put their trust into aunties or mommies or other close people they trust, thinking they would believe them and help them, save them from abuse and harassment. Please let us be that thread of faith that a boy or girl will have, to save them from physical, mental, emotional and psychological destruction. My words are just what I think, it is the acts that count. What I can do and how I can help. I have three sisters and I would never want for them to be sexually harassed or abused in anyway. I will fight for their rights and defend their innocence. It takes one act to affect the lives of many.
